Generals Release Pacific Division Semi-Final Schedule

Eugene, OR – The NORPAC Pacific Division third place Eugene Generals (33-13) released their 2008 Pacific Division Semi-Final schedule earlier today. The Generals will face the second place Tri-City Titans (35-13) in Semi-Finals, which is a rematch of the 2006 Pacific Division Finals. The Generals were able to defeat the Titans in four games during the 2006 Finals, and will be looking to do the same in the 2008 Semi-Finals.

The best-of-five series will begin at Lane Events Center-Ice Friday, February 29 at 7:35 PM. The series will stay in Eugene for the second game of the series on Saturday, March 1 at 7:35 PM. The Semi-Finals will then head to Pasco, WA at the TRAC Ice Arena for three on Friday, March 7 at 7:00 PM. If necessary, the series will continue in Pasco for games four and five on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9 at 7:00 PM.

The winner of the Generals/Titans series will face the winner of the series between the first place Seattle Totems and the fourth place River City Jaguars. The winner of the Pacific Division Finals will earn one of the two NORPAC bids to the Tier-III Junior A National Tournament in Boston, MA. After Pacific Division Champions and the Rocky Mountain Division Champions return from the National Tournament they will meet for the Cascade Cup Championships.
