Eugene, OR – The NORPAC Pacific Division leader Eugene Generals (31-6) had an 8-2 victory over the River City Jaguars (11-29) to sweep the three game weekend. The Generals are now 7-0 against the Jaguars this season, and have two games remaining in the nine game season series.
“We played pretty well at the beginning of the game, but we didn’t finish strong tonight,” Generals head coach Jay Miller stated. “We have a tough road ahead of us, and we need to find a way to put a complete game together. If we can find a way to do that we should be a tough team to beat.”

Five other Generals had points in the contest. Christian Merritt and Ryan McDonald each had a goal. Justin Huelsman, Mat Topolewski and Eric Watters each had an assist in the game. Generals goaltender Mario Retana had 38 saves in the win.
