Generals to Face Puget Sound and Seattle

Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals (26-5) will face the Puget Sound Tomahawks (11-22) for one game in Bremerton, WA on Thursday, and they will face the Seattle Totems (26-7) for games in Mountlake Terrace, WA on Friday and Saturday. The three game weekend is the second of five consecutive three game weekends for the Generals.

“Right now we’re just focusing on playing better hockey, no matter who our opponent is,” Generals head coach Jay Miller stated. “The Tomahawks are coming off of a big win over Billings, and Seattle will be looking for a little redemption after the Showcase. We’re in that same boat. We didn’t play our best hockey in Billings, and we got thumped a couple of times. We want to put those games behind us, but not forget about them.”

The Generals are currently 7-0 against the Tomahawks this season, and are 3-2 against the Totems. Friday will be the first time the Generals have seen the Totems since November 7 when they were taken down 8-3. The Generals have yet to lose two consecutive games this season, and will be looking to keep that streak standing tomorrow.

The game tomorrow against the Tomahawks at 7:35 PM, and the games on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM against the Totems will be broadcast in audio only on EGHN. For more information on upcoming games or EGHN please visit eugenegenerals.com.
