Generals 2008 Main Camp Starts Tomorrow

Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals quest for a fourth consecutive NORPAC playoff birth will officially start tomorrow at 10:15 AM at Lane Events Center-Ice with the beginning of the Generals 2008 Main Camp. The camp will consist of 26 hours of grueling on-ice training, and 10 hours of off-ice training beginning tomorrow and continuing until Sunday. The players who are selected from Main Camp will begin Training Camp on Monday.

The Generals have 61 players registered for the camp, 25 of which will be selected for the final roster. The 61 players are represented by 13 different states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington), and for the first time in Generals history Oregon will have the most players represented (12).

“We’ve got a lot of talent coming from around the country,” Generals Head Coach Jay Miller stated. “I’m looking forward to having a very successful camp, and continuing the winning tradition the Generals have established over the past few years.”

The Generals on-ice sessions for Main Camp will be open to the press. For more information on the Generals 2008 Main Camp please visit eugenegenerals.com.
