McDonald's Night Set for November 1 vs. Rogue Valley
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals announced earlier today that McDonald’s Night will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 against the Rogue Valley Wranglers. The first 500 fans into Lane Events Center-Ice for the 7:35 PM home game against the Wranglers will receive a gift certificate for a free McDonald’s espresso.
“This will be the third year that the Generals have been partnered with McDonald’s, and so far it has been a great partnership for both us and McDonald’s,” Generals GM Flint Doungchak stated. “The Generals wouldn’t exist without the support of the community, and McDonald’s has continued to be a big part of that support over the past couple of years. The Eugene Generals organization is very excited about McDonald’s Night. It should be a great event for our fans and McDonald’s.”
Angie Holland, head of marketing for MD Sanders Restaurants, said, “McDonald’s sees a value in sponsoring the Eugene Generals year after year. So far, the partnership has worked very well not only for the Generals and McDonald’s, but for Ronald McDonald House Charities as well.
