Generals Coach Hartly to Miss Tonight's Game
Eugene, OR – Due to a misunderstanding about communication protocol between the Eugene Generals and Lane Events Center, Generals Head Coach Chris Hartly has been denied access to Lane Events Center until the misunderstanding is resolved. Coach Hartly will miss tonight’s game against the Coeur d’Alene Lakers. Assistant Coach Jay Miller will act as interim Head Coach, and Generals GM Flint Doungchak will act as interim Assistant Coach until a resolution is reached.
“We are making every effort to work with Lane Events Center officials to resolve the situation,” Generals Owner Ken Evans stated. “We have a longstanding partnership with Lane Events Center, and I believe we will be able to come to a reasonable conclusion as soon as is deemed possible.”
Evans and Lane Events Center officials will meet Thursday morning, and will discuss possible solutions to the misunderstanding.
