Generals Dominate Jaguars
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals (29-13) tamed the River City Jaguars (13-31) this afternoon 10-2 at Lane Events Center-Ice. The big guns showed up today for the Generals. Kris Kranzky had six points on the day, and Michael Frei had five. “We did what we had to do today,” Generals Head Coach Robert Freeland said. “We had plenty of opportunities, and we capitalized on most of them.”
Most of the Generals scoring came from the top line of Lucas Romero, Michael Frei, and Kris Kranzky. Of the Generals ten goals Romero, Frei, and Kranzky put in seven. Romero had two goals and added one assist, Frei had three goals and added two assists, and Kranzky had two goals and added four assists. Ben Tikka helped the cause with one goal and two assists. Ryan Schank and Matt Vasilie also added goals, and Tyler MacMillan, Troy Mytinger, and Brad Meyers all added assists.
