Generals Look to Keep the Streak Alive
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals are hoping to keep their undefeated streak alive. The Generals have opened up the season with two wins against the powerhouse Fort Vancouver Pioneers and two wins against the expansion Crusaders of Kent. “I’m really excited about our record,” Head Coach Robert Freeland stated. “We’re looking forward to getting into the meat of our schedule, and come away with some wins.”
The Generals will be battling the Crusaders of Kent Friday and Saturday for the second consecutive week. The Generals crushed the Crusaders 18-1 last Friday night, and 10-1 last Saturday at Kent Valley Ice Arena. “We played pretty well in Kent,” Assistant Coach Chris Hartly stated. “There are still a lot of things we can improve on, and hopefully we can get those things straightened out this weekend.”
The Generals will take the ice Friday, September 30, and Saturday, October 1 at Lane Events Center-Ice at 7:35. For more information on this weekend’s games please visit www.eugenegenerals.com.
