Generals Invite Media/Public to Camp
Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals are extending an invitation to all who would like to witness history in the making. On Saturday, August 13, 2005 all members of the media and the general public will be able to watch elite hockey players from all over the country vie for a spot on the inaugural Eugene Generals roster. The speed will be blistering, the hits bruising, and the perseverence unmistakable.
The Camp will span over five days (August 10-14) at Lane Events Center-Ice. The Generals are expecting 50+ players at their Inaugural Tryout Camp. The players hail from places such as Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, Iowa, and Michigan. The 50 will be giving their all to be one of the lucky 25 to earn a spot on the roster.
The day starts with an opening scrimmage at 10:00 AM which is immediately followed by another scrimmage at 11:45 AM. The players will get a short break then be right back on the ice for two more back-to-back scrimmages at 3:15 PM. During the day the Owners, General Manager, Coaches, and various players will be available for questions and interviews.
The doors will be open all day long, so don't be the only one left out of the cold.
