Eugene, OR – The Eugene Generals have partnered up with the largest, most respected and most famous gym in the world. Gold’s Gym is now the “Official Gym of the Eugene Generals.” The Eugene Generals players will be training at the same gym that has 3 million members at over 650 locations around the world.
Since 1965 Gold’s Gym has been the recognized authority on fitness. The Original Gold’s Gym started in Venice, California. It was the place for the serious workout. No frills, just the best atmosphere with the best equipment to build your body. Bodybuilders outside the Muscle Beach found an inside haven at Gold’s Gym which quickly became known as The Mecca of Bodybuilding. The Gold rush began as bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts everywhere flocked to Venice. In 1977, Gold’s Gym received international attention when it was featured in the movie “Pumping Iron.” People from all over the world would visit Gold’s Gym to train or just watch the famous Herculean members pumping iron. From that first gym in Venice, Gold’s has become the largest gym chain in the world with over 650 facilities and growing.
