Summary:
The Eugene Generals are looking for interns for the 2009/2010 season. The Generals are in their fifth season in the Northern Pacific Hockey League, and GeneralsiTV is their Internet broadcast, which brings fans not in Eugene closer to the team. This Internship is perfect for anyone who wants to have first hand experience of an Internet broadcast. The interns will report to the Executive Producer and will have a say in how the broadcast will look this season. GITV has 2 cameras, instant replay, intermission interviews and it runs commercials. GITV will also be producing a weekly league highlight show and produce a show for the Generals. The team is looking for interns whom are hard working, creative, self-motivated and works well with others. The Games are Friday and Saturday. This is a non-paid position, but will benefit you in the real world.
Responsibilities:
Interns have to work well in a team environment.
Interns will be required to work home games when scheduled; Road games are optional.
Interns will have one day of office hours preparing for the broadcast.
Will assist in the production of the League Highlight show and any show done for the Generals.
Intern will learn all positions that are open so GiTV can cover people’s jobs when they can’t make a game.
Others Responsibilities will be assigned by the Executive Producer and Generals Manager.
