Hartly Resigns, Miller Named Interim Head Coach

Eugene, OR - Eugene Generals Head Coach Chris Hartly resigned late yesterday evening after three years with the organization. Shortly after the resignation, Generals Assistant Coach Jay Miller was named interim Head Coach. Miller has been the assistant coach for the past two seasons. Generals GM Flint Doungchak is now in the process of a nation wide search for a new head coach. Full Release

Generals Sign Colorado's Bishop

Eugene, OR - The Eugene Generals signed former Arapahoe Ice Warriors defenseman Blake Bishop early this morning. Bishop is the first acquisition for the Generals during the 2008 off-season. The 5-9, 165 lb 17 year old from Denver, CO should bring speed and scoring ability to the Generals blue line. Full Release
