Player Spotlight- #25 Brad Main
by Chris Bilder, Generals Staff Writer

Eugene, OR-

Chris Bilder: How would you describe the season so far?

Brad Main: Its been quite the roller coaster ride. I’ve switched from one line to another, and I’ve had to get used to playing with five different people.

CB: How would you compare NORPAC to the VIJHL?

BM: The pace is a lot faster and it is a lot harder hitting in NORPAC. You definitely have to be a smarter hockey player to play down here.

CB: How would you describe the team’s performance so far?

BM: I’m a little surprised at how good we’re doing. I didn’t expect us to go on such a long winning streak.

CB: What do you think is the one area of your game that most benefits the team?

BM: My Junior hockey experience.

CB: You have 17 goals and 26 assists for 43 points on the season, which is 1st on the Generals and 3rd in NORPAC. Did you expect to have this kind of point production this season?

BM: Definitely not. I expected to be a little more consistent with the team. I didn’t expect to be leading the team in points, that’s for sure.

CB: Are you happy with your output thus far?

BM: Yes. That is what I’m most happy with is my point production.

CB: What are your goals for the season?

BM: My goals are to score 30 goals and have 40 assists, and to gain as much weight and muscle as possible.

CB: What are your plans for next season?

BM: To make it to the next level, and if I can’t do that then come back to Eugene.

CB: What does the team need to do to beat Puget Sound this Sunday?

BM: Stay clean, stick to the systems and stay disciplined.

CB: What is the one thing you are looking most forward to when you get back home for the Christmas break?

BM: To be with my family again, and to see all of my friends.
