Player Spotlight- #2 Arram Chinarian
by Chris Bilder, Generals Staff Writer

Eugene, OR-

Chris Bilder: You were part of the biggest trade the Generals have made in a couple of years. How has the trade from Helena worked out for you?

Arram Chinarian: Bomb. Its awesome living at Jayne’s [Detering] house, and coming here to play hockey every day.

CB: Compare and contrast your experiences in Helena and Eugene.

AC: There are fewer one-way streets in Helena. Overall the team here is more fun and a lot closer together.

CB: What has been your favorite moment this season?

AC: There are so many. I think the teambuilding stuff has been my favorite part of this season so far. I loved paintballing and watching Bilder eat the gross stuff we made in Iron Chef.

CB: This is your first season of Junior hockey. Is it everything you thought it would be?

AC: No. It is so much more. Its definitely a different lifestyle than on the outside (laughs).

CB: You have 3 goals and 9 assists with the Generals. Are you happy with your point production?

AC: Yes. Its like a hat trick in a season right (laughs).

CB: What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

AC: The strongest part of my game is probably the physical presence I have out on the ice.

CB: Would you rather have a big hit in a game or a big goal?

AC: Oh big hit, obvi. Anybody can put the puck in the net, but it takes a man to put a body on the ground. And, it helps to psyche up the team a lot.

CB: What is the most fun part of hockey for you?

AC: All the friends I’ve made over the years.

CB: What are your goals for the rest of the season?

AC: Help my teammates be better hockey players.

CB: What do the Generals need to do to beat Rogue Valley and Tri-City this weekend?

AC: We need to have everybody play their role out on the ice.
