CB: How do you think the team played last weekend?
JA: We played poorly, but picked it up the last game. I saw a vast improvement in our game over the weekend, and I think we’ll only continue to get better.
CB: How do you think you played last weekend?
JA: I hit the post a couple times and couldn’t get one past the goalie. I don’t think I played well defensively, and that is something we will all have to work on this week.
CB: What are you and the team going to do differently this weekend?
JA: We’re going to play 60 minutes of hockey. We’re going to play with a lot more heart, a lot more effort and a lot more intensity.
CB: What are your expectations for the team this weekend?
JA: I expect us to walk away from this weekend with four points.
CB: What are your expectations for yourself this weekend?
JA: I want to put a couple of points up on the board, and make sure the team plays strong enough to get two wins.
CB: What are your expectations for yourself this season?
JA: I want to be a leader, and make sure everybody gets going. It would also be nice to put up some points for the team.
CB: How does it feel to be the captain of the Generals?
JA: It feels pretty good. I know I have some pretty big shoes to fill and it is a lot of responsibility, but I think I’m up to the challenge.
CB: What are you looking forward to this weekend?
JA: Playing Rogue Valley for the first time in the regular season and taking on Kyle Bicksler. It should be fun to be in front of the home crowd, it’s a fun environment to be around. I think we have the best fans in NORPAC, and I hope they get the place really loud for the weekend.
CB: How would your ideal home opener turn out?
JA: It would be great to get a shutout for whoever plays in net. I want give them a good defensive game, and put a couple points on the board.
CB: What was your favorite moment last season?
JA: My favorite moment is when Ryan Schank, Matt Vasilie and I each had five points in a game against River City.
