General Description:
The Eugene Generals is in need of GiTV Interns. GiTV is a video and audio web cast of the Generals Games. We are presenting this internship for five University of Oregon Students. The internship requires some experience with video work and editing. Classes and certifications qualify as experience. This position will include the interns doing camera work during the games, editing highlights after the game and anything else that deals with GiTV. The internship may require some travel.

This internship will give interns experience on how a sports broadcast is run.

Requirements:
Applicants should be highly motivated and extremely willing to contribute to a hard working, and demanding environment. Interns with sophomore standing with a current major in Journalism (Electronic Media) preferred but not required. An orientation will be held before spring term ends.

Time Committment:
Interns that can be committed for two terms (or longer) are preferred, but not required. The Generals would prefer to have the same interns for the 2007-08 seasons through March. Interns can expect to spend about 8 to 12 hours per week during the season, however, the beginning of the season may require a little more time so everyone is comfortable when the home opener occurs. If editing after a game long nights will occur and could work late into the evening (11:30 PM or later).
