Ken Evans, Owner, President and Manager
Ken Evans has a Bachelor’s degree in Business as well as Construction Engineering Management and a Masters in Civil Engineering. In his career Evans has been a project manager, a Director of Engineering and has even served as the director of a hospital. Evans is currently vice president and co-owner of Evans Building Company, and local general contractor that builds commercial and industrial pre-engineered metal buildings.

Beginning as a youth hockey coach in Ancorage, AK, Evans is a qualified Level 4 Advanced Coach who recently completed his third year coaching in Eugene. He also currently acts as the President on the Board of Directors of the Lane Amateur Hockey Association, the local youth hockey organization in Eugene. With a passion for hockey and a keen business sense developed over the years, Evans sees Junior B hockey in Eugene as a win-win situation for the incoming elite talent and for the local development of ice hockey.

John McBride, Owner
John McBride has had an extensive background in coaching at the Bantam and Midget Tiered levels of USA Hockey. McBride is the managing partner of Valley Ice Arena and was the 2001 Pacific District Dempsey Anderson Award winner for exceptional volunteer effort in youth hockey. McBride is also the majority owner of the Junior B River City Jaguars who played their inaugural season last year.
